Initiative 502 was approved by popular vote (55.7%) and certified. The resulting legislation allowed recreational cannabis for adults 21 and over in the State of Washington.
Rules developed for producers, processors and retailers via I-502.
The first licenses were issued to producers, processors and retailers in Washington. Le Herbe is launched as a private company and will focus on the producer/processor aspect of the cannabis industry.
Le Herbe started developing cannabis beverages, including, but not limited to, energy shots, sports drinks, value-added water, kombucha, tea, coffee, and cocktail mixers. Strategic partnerships and licensing agreements are being implemented in legal states such as Arizona, Washington, Colorado, California, Oregon and Nevada for a national presence and Australia, Jamaica, Canada, Amsterdam for international expansion.
Le Herbe invested significant capital in R&D to revolutionize liquid cannabis delivery systems. Consumers can now drink an "all-natural" cannabis beverage to achieve the same or greater psychotropic (THC) or non-psychotropic (CBD) effects as the traditional smoking route.
